Volunteers Needed:

Iowa City has a 24 hours phone number for inquiries about how to help and where. Call 887-6202 or check their website at icgov.org and click on their flood link.

• Fellowship- As a part of our important Sunday fellowship time, food and beverage are provided as we share conversation with one another. There is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex to indicate when you could provide a simple goodie or help with set-up and clean-up.
• Cleaning- Several people are needed to help with cleaning the church building.
• Nursery- If you are could be on the nursery volunteer rotation, please sign up on the sheet in the Narthex.
• Calling all bakers- cookies are needed to be kept in the Church freezer so Pastor Sherry can take a dozen along when she visits people.
• Table to Table- needs volunteers as route drivers. Table to table keeps wholesome, edible food from going to waste by collecting it from donors and distributing to those in need through agencies that serve the hungry, homeless and at-risk populations. • Road to Recovery- If you have a car, safe driving skills, a valid liceense, and can drive as little as one morning or afternoon a month you can help solve one of the cancer patient's most basic problems, transportation. Please call 1-888-266-2071 or 319-365-6242.
• Reach to Recovery- The American Cancer Society is looking for volunteers for it's one-on-one visitation program to provide support and information to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients. Visits are made by trained volunteers (in person or on the phone) who have been diagnosed with the same type of cancer treatment regimen as the patient. Please call 1-888-266-2071 or 319-365-6242.
